International Label Conference B&B

The theme of the 8th Label Conference is creating new perspectives in marketing and environmental awareness relating to labels. The fascination of paper labels, and their captivating effect, open up compelling issues for all marketing and design experts as well as engineers and printers.
The ability of paper labels to focus attention on experiencing the products at the point of use, by bringing their emotional feel to bear, opens up new vistas. This cuts to the quick of label production, changing how requirements are focussed. The focus used to be just on the impulse at the point of sale; now there is more emphasis on the emotional bond with the brand and the product.
Our behaviour and how we treat our environment is scrutinized by a broad public, and we have to answer for our use of scarce resources.
There are likely to be new innovative initiatives in modern label production, as witnessed by the technical solutions that our “label industry” has already implemented, and the future projects reflecting our awareness of this sensitive issue.
B&B will again be inviting leading speakers for this conference, drawn both from the scientific community and from industrial practice; they will be sharing their knowledge and insights in presentations and discussions.
This will also be an event not to be missed for label printers, designers, marketing experts and engineers working for suppliers. This meeting of so many experts from all over the world offers a unique opportunity for networking and interdisciplinary discussion. Many attendees value this aspect of the conference with its “social programme” where participants can exchange ideas in depth and find new insights for developing their business.
